In what has always been one the most highly-attended and beautiful galas during the Miami society season, the Jackson Memorial Foundation Golden Angels Gala 2012 did it again. The theme was “A Royal Gala,” held at the new JW Marriott Marquis in Downtown Miami. The event honored members of the Golden Angel Society who have contributed to the improvement of Jackson Memorial Hospital and the organization’s many programs.
Despite the $1000 minimum ticket price, over 1200 supporters of Jackson barely blinked, buying tables at the $25,000 level to party like royalty. At the event, The Collection donated an Audi A6 to be raffled off, with raffle tickets going for $1000 each, which raised $75,000 for Jackson.
The guest list read like a who’s who of Miami’s business and community leaders and society power players. The event is such a hot ticket that it usually sells out before the invitations are put in the mail, and this year was no exception. A spectacular night of over-the-top glamour for a great cause!
