MISO’s “An Evening in Vienna” Concert January 21

The Miami Symphony Orchestra’s much anticipated concert series returns with the waltzes, overtures and lively dance music from Vienna’s Golden Era at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts. This is a MUST SEE!

Under the baton of Music Director and Conductor, Maestro Eduardo Marturet, “An Evening in Vienna,” features a splendid selection from the vast repertoire of the  Johann Strauss family and its contemporaries.

The evening’s program, opens with Die Meistersinger overture by Richard Wagner and is followed by some of the most acclaimed Hungarian Dances by Johannes Brahms and Franz Von Suppe’s Morning, Noon and Night in Vienna Overture.

The second half of “An Evening in Vienna” is dedicated to the waltz king, Johann Strauss Jr. featuring his most celebrated works: the Acceleration Waltz; Fledermaus Overture; Thunder & Lightning Polka and the Emperor Waltz among others. Purchase your tickets now!
