Created by music superstar Phil Collins and his former wife, Orianne Collins Mejjati in 2000, the “Little Dreams Foundation” helps to fulfill the dreams of underprivileged young artists, ages 4-16, in music, sports and art and it has launched the first United States chapter in Miami. The Little Dreams Foundation children receive private lessons, scholarships and mentoring by such notables as Natalie Cole, Tina Turner and Collins himself, to name a few. To date, the international organization has helped hundreds of children in Europe and Africa.

Little Dreams Foundation is now in South Florida. Co-founder Orianne Collins Mejjati, who has lived in Miami Beach for over two years, hosted a “Keep Dreaming” brunch at the landmark Joe’s Stone Crab restaurant. The brunch was the organization’s kick-off event in the United States for their Miami-based chapter. The fund-raising brunch was attended by over 200 guests who enjoyed delicious stone crabs and performances by several of the young artists in Little Dreams.

“After seeing so many talented children in need in this community,” explained Orianne, “we thought it would be wonderful to bring the Little Dreams Foundation to Miami as well.”Among the VIPs there were artist Romero Britto, who recently became an ambassador for the foundation and music mogul Rudy Perez, an avid supporter.

Don’t miss the Little Dreams Foundation gala this coming December 6 at The Fillmore on Miami Beach with a special concert featuring Little Dreams artists, along with Phil Collins, vocalist Laura Pausini and other celebrity performers.  Gala tickets are $150 per person. Sponsorship opportunities begin at $1,300. Proceeds will benefit talented children in need in South Florida.
