COMING March 12! “A Night at the Museum” at the Bass!

The Bass Museum of Art presents its annual fundraiser, “A Night at the Museum” in collaboration with VOGUE Latinoamerica featuring Vanitas: Fashion and Art. The exhibition explores the theme as expressed in avant garde ready-to-wear and haute couture as well as in contemporary paintings, sculptures, industrial design and new media.

It includes works by designers and artists such as Manolo Blahnik, Isaac Mizrahi, Yohji Yamamoto, Iris van Herpen, Elsa Schiaparelli and others. These pieces from the world of fashion will be juxtaposed with film and video works by Sam Taylor-Johnson and Greta Alfaro, photographs from Pinar Yolacan and Ori Gersht.

A select group of about 500 of the city’s leading arts patrons, socialites and tastemakers are expected to attend. Guests will also enjoy cocktails and refreshments, music by celebrity DJ Mauricio Parra, and a silent auction including art, experiences and luxury items.
